Cookie notice
This site does not use marketing or analytics cookies, and therefore does not show a cookie banner. Updated 2026-04-27.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device through your browser. Cookies serve different purposes: some are necessary for the technical operation of the site, some collect statistics, and some support advertising.
2. Cookies and storage on this site
- No cookies by default. The site works without cookies and does not set any until the user explicitly opens a third-party service.
- Cal.com (opt-in click): when the user clicks "Open booking calendar", the embedded Cal.com calendar loads and may set identifiers required for the service to function (e.g. Cloudflare's bot-protection cookie). The user can choose not to load it, or to open Cal.com in a new tab instead. Purpose: booking-service operation. Retention: as defined by Cal.com, typically up to one year.
- Vercel Web Analytics: cookieless analytics service. Vercel does not set cookies and does not collect personal identifiers; visit data is derived from a daily-rotating hash of IP + user-agent. Data is collected as aggregates (e.g. page views without unique identifiers).
- Plausible Analytics: cookieless analytics service (Plausible Insights OÜ, Estonia, EU-hosted). Sets no cookies and collects no unique identifiers; visit data is collected as aggregates with no personal data.
3. Browser Local Storage and Session Storage
The site may use browser Local Storage or Session Storage to remember technical preferences (e.g. a possible future dark-mode setting). These are not cookies and they do not get transmitted to the server.
4. Why no cookie banner?
Under the EU ePrivacy directive (in Finland, section 205 of the Information Society Code), user consent is required only when the site sets non-essential cookies. Since this site does not, a banner would be unnecessary. By clicking to load a third-party service you accept the terms and cookie practices of that service.
5. Third-party services
If you explicitly open a third-party service on this site (such as the Cal.com booking calendar or a social-media link), you enter the terms and privacy policies of that service. Such links are presented visibly so you can choose not to load them.
Cal.com privacy notice: cal.com/privacy.
6. Browser settings
You can manage cookies in your browser settings. Most browsers allow blocking, accepting, and deleting cookies on a per-site basis. See your browser's help for details.
